New Orleans Style Shrimp Recipe
2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1 teaspoon paprika
Dash cayenne pepper
2 cups soft bread crumbs
2 sticks (1 cup) butter or margarine, melted
4 pounds shrimp, cooked and cleaned (fresh or frozen)
Add garlic, parsley, paprika, pepper, and- bread crumbs to butter in saucepan. Stir to blend flavors.
Arrange cooked shrimp in a shallow baking dish. Spoon butter mixture over. Bake in a moderate oven (350F) 30 minutes or until crumbs are brown. Sprinkle with additional parsley, if desired. Serve hot. Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
