Baked Hawaiian Rice Recipe


1 cup long grain rice
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 cup wild rice, washed
4 chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 cup sliced green onions
4 cups hot water
Chopped parsley

Mix rice, onion, and soy sauce in a 2-quart casserole. Dissolve bouillon cubes in hot water; add to rice mixture. Cover tightly with lid or foil and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes more. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve hot. Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
