1 cup salad oil
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
1 cup catsup
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon celery seed
3 tablespoons vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Combine all ingredients in a quart jar or bottle. Cover and shake until sugar dissolves. Serve with tossed or fruit salads.
